Anna is a PostDoc researcher at the Department of Sociology at the University of Zurich. Anna’s research focuses on emergences, enactments and reconfigurations of “good” medical care at the beginning of the 21st century. It draws on actor network theory and material semiotics and uses qualitative methods. Through detailed ethnographic case studies it contributes to debates on care, values, critique and the medical profession going on at the intersection between science and technology studies, sociology of health and illness and medical anthropology.
