Membership

STS-CH – the Swiss Association for the Science and Technology Studies – is always open for new members. We invite all researchers interested in the STS community in Switzerland to join us to further strengthen and develop our research field.

By becoming a member you support the association, enable the realization of new projects, and make the voice of STS heard in the Swiss academic landscape.

The annual membership fees are as follows:

  • Regular: 40 CHF
  • Students and PhD candidates: 20 CHF
  • Reduced (e.g. unemployed, retired): 25 CHF

Membership benefits include:

  • access to a large community of researchers based in Switzerland and abroad who work in the field of science and technology studies;
  • the possibility to participate in networking and exchange events on topics related to research, teaching and policy;
  • voting rights at the General Assembly of STS-CH;
  • a discount on the registration of congresses and conferences organized by STS-CH;
  • the possibility to support scientific events through the funding of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences.
