is Group Leader of ‘Cultural Studies of Science and Technology’ and Lecturer at the Transdisciplinarity Lab of the Department of Environmental Systems Science (USYS TdLab), ETH Zürich (Switzerland). Bianca holds a Phd and Habilitation (venia legendi) from ETH Zurich in the field of anthropology of science and technology, investigating collaborative knowledge production processes. As a result, she has centred her research on the specific conditions for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research, their evaluation and on the production and social use of knowledge in different countries, including the role of universities and other institutions. Her latest publications include Institutionalizing Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity Collaboration across Cultures and Communities co-edited with Julie Thompson Klein (Routledge, 2022).
